Job summary

You will liaise with engineers, contractors and residents, ensuring adherence to drawings and specs.

The role requires reading plans, daily field reporting, and coordinating project changes. A high school diploma is required; 3+ years in construction; CPII/QSP preferred; CA driver

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret plans and specs.
• Strong communication with engineers, contractors, residents.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret technical specifications, drawings and contract requirements.
• Ensure work aligns with drawings and specifications.
• Perform daily field reporting and witness tests; document results.
• Inspect construction and rehabilitation of public facilities, roads, parks, and utilities.
• Prepare sketches and data for field engineer use on project changes.
• Review pay estimates for accuracy with contractor.
