Job summary

Marsden Services, L.L.C. is seeking a Part Time Back-Up Maintenance Technician for New Orleans, LA. The role supports property maintenance, performs repairs, and helps with preventive maintenance to keep units ready for occupancy.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a 2-year technical degree or relevant experience, and ability to work 25 hours per week on a 10am–3pm schedule. On-site work with on-call duties and local travel.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment with lifting and bending.
• 4 years multi-family or commercial building maintenance or equivalent experience.
• Intermediate computer skills including email, time entry, and MS Office (Excel).
• High school graduate or equivalent; 2-year technical degree or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repairs, and preventive tasks to keep property standards.
• Schedule and complete work orders within 48 hours.
• Assist in HVAC, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, and appliance tasks.
• Work with vendors and team to manage inventory and projects.
