Job summary

Cape Fox Corporation is seeking a Physical Fitness Coordinator (On Call) to lead on-site Physical Fitness Exams for USPIS. You will run pre/post briefs, enforce SOPs, and coordinate with a Certified Fitness Test Administrator and EMT/First Responder. The role requires a relevant credential and 2+ years of testing experience.

Hourly rate is $37.87 with 401K match; flexible event-based hours and strict adherence to safety and QA protocols are expected.

Qualifications

• Associate’s in exercise science or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• National fitness credential (ACSM, NSCA, ACE) required or preferred.
• Two or more years administering standardized fitness testing or coaching.
• Completion of Concentric Methods PFE Lead Certification within 30 days; recertification annually.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Run pre-brief and post-brief; enforce SOPs, timing, counting, rest intervals, and site safety.
• Supervise the Fitness Test Administrator and EMT; assign roles and ensure safety.
• Verify venue readiness; confirm AED and EMS address.
• Oversee data entry; ensure two-person validation of counts, times, calculations, and signatures.
• Release validated results package within 48–72 hours; maintain version control.
• Deliver a five-minute readiness briefing to each cohort; perform equipment checks.

Education

Associate’s in exercise science or related field

National fitness credential (ACSM/NSCA/ACE)

2+ years fitness testing/coaching

CPR/AED certification (preferred)
