Job summary

Intermountain Health Logan Regional Hospital is seeking a Phlebotomist I to accurately collect patient specimens for diagnostic testing in a fast-paced hospital and clinic environment. You will work as part of a dynamic team, following strict safety and regulatory standards while engaging with patients, families, and caregivers with empathy.

The role requires BLS and at least six months of phlebotomy experience or certification, with on-call and holiday rotations possible.

Qualifications

• BLS required; High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of phlebotomy experience, phlebotomy training or national certification as approved by manager/supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Accurately collect patient specimens for diagnostic testing while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
• Communicate procedures and instructions with patients and family members; demonstrate empathy during interactions.
• Participate in on-call shifts and holiday rotations as needed by the department.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and navigate multiple computer systems for documentation.
