The Chaplain at Children's Hospital & Medical Center - Omaha provides spiritual and emotional support to patients, families and staff, collaborating with the hospital team to offer care in times of crisis.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in religion/theology/ministry, a Master’s degree, and denominational endorsement, with pediatric or healthcare experience preferred. On-call coverage and ongoing education are expected as part of the position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in religion, theology, ministry or pastoral care from an accredited school is required.
• Master's degree in religion, theology, ministry or pastoral care from an accredited school is required (0.5 FTE caveat applies).

Responsibilities

• Provide spiritual and emotional support to patients, families and staff.
• Facilitate religious rituals as requested and coordinate with community clergy when needed.
• Participate in 24-hour emergency coverage and on-call responsiveness.
