Job summary

Lincare is seeking a Delivery Driver to ensure safe and timely delivery of home medical equipment to patients, including equipment setup and educating patients on proper use. You will follow patient orientation checklists, maintain routes, and uphold safety standards across all deliveries.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of professional driving experience; healthcare background is a plus. Local travel and periodic on-call shifts are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a professional driving role or equivalent.
• Home care/health care background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow complete patient orientation checklists during delivery and training.
• Adhere to assigned routes and schedules.
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Inspect and maintain company-delivered vehicle, ensuring safety during loading/unloading.
• Establish and maintain outstanding relations with patients and internal team members.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle and warehouse, adhering to FDA protocols.
• Work on-call rotation during evening and weekend hours to address patient medical emergencies.
