Job summary

Lincare is seeking a Delivery Driver to ensure safe and timely delivery of home medical equipment, provide equipment setup, and educate patients on proper usage. The role includes following orientation checklists, maintaining routes, and upholding safety standards.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of professional driving experience. A health care background is a plus, with on-call evening and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of professional driving experience.
• Home care/health care background is a plus.
• Must lift 50+ pounds solo and be able to lift 50+ lbs with assistance or mechanical aid.

Responsibilities

• Follow patient orientation checklists during delivery and training.
• Adhere to assigned routes and schedules.
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Inspect and maintain delivery vehicle and ensure safety during loading/unloading.
• Establish and maintain outstanding relations with patients and internal team members.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle and warehouse, adhering to FDA protocols.
• Work on-call rotation during evenings and weekends.
