Job summary

HCA Healthcare's Medical City Las Colinas in Irving, TX seeks a PACU Registered Nurse (PRN) with on-call responsibilities. You will manage post-operative care, monitor airway, neuro and cardiac status, and respond to complications, collaborating with anesthesia and surgery teams.

Responsibilities include initial wound care, patient stabilization during recovery, and participating in on-call discussions. Requires ACLS, BLS, PALS within specified windows, RN license, and 2 years of RN experience.

Qualifications

• RN license required
• ACLS must be obtained within 90 days
• BLS within 30 days
• PALS within 30 days
• Associate Degree required
• 2 years RN experience required

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while applying evidence-based practices
• Collaborate with a dynamic interdisciplinary team
• Independently deliver safe nursing care using the nursing process
• Assess patient condition, monitor continuously, and document changes
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatment and follow-up
