Job summary

InTown Suites is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician to oversee daily upkeep of the Birmingham property. The role requires living on-site during employment and being on-call for emergencies.

You will also serve as the Property Attendant part of the week as directed by management. Responsibilities include grounds and building upkeep, preventive maintenance, handling guest concerns, and coordinating safety with supervisors.

Qualifications

• Must read, speak, write, and understand English to interact with guests and staff.
• Ability to follow instructions efficiently and communicate clearly.
• Capable of managing multiple activities, often in stressful situations.
• Knowledge of air conditioning systems, installation, maintenance and repair.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily upkeep of the property and on-call for emergencies.
• Maintain, repair and perform preventive maintenance on hotel property and equipment.
• Respond to service requests promptly and coordinate with supervisor.
• Assist as Property Attendant one or two days weekly as directed.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and keep grounds clean and safe.
