Qualifications

• Educational Background: A Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Certification: NBCOT certification is mandatory.
• Licensing: You must hold a current Occupational Therapy License in the state of employment or be license eligible.
• Preferred Experience: Knowledge of sensory integration and neurodevelopment of the visual system is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patient Evaluations: Conduct initial evaluations and develop treatment plans, with on-site job, home, power tools, and height evaluations.
• Reporting and Communication: Maintain accurate records and coordinate with patients, families, insurers, and clinicians.
• Program Management: Oversee patient programs, supervise aides/students, and ensure daily plans are followed.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Deliver diverse therapies including sensory integration and neurodevelopmental techniques.
• Collaboration and Teamwork: Work with a multidisciplinary team and participate in meetings.
• Professional Development: Engage in ongoing learning and mentorship programs with compensation boosts.
