Centre for Neuro Skills is seeking a Staff Occupational Therapist to evaluate patients with traumatic brain injuries and provide comprehensive therapies. The role offers PRN shifts within a mission-driven team focused on hope, independence, and meaningful lives for patients.

Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor's or Master's in Occupational Therapy, NBCOT certification, and an OT license in the state of employment or eligibility. Ongoing professional development is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Educational background: A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Certification: NBCOT certification is mandatory.
• Licensing: Must hold a current OT license in the state of employment or be license eligible.
• Preferred experience: Sensory integration and neurodevelopment of the visual system are highly recommended.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial evaluations to identify major problems and develop treatment plans.
• Administer therapy programs (e.g., range of motion) and update patient plans.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate with patients, families, and other clinicians.
• Supervise clinic aides and students, and provide guidance on daily treatment plans.
• Implement interventions including sensory integration, neuromuscular, and neurodevelopmental techniques.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and mentorship opportunities.
