Job summary

Jovie of Reno-Tahoe in Reno, NV is hiring dependable nannies and babysitters to care for infants through school-age children. You will select from available assignments that fit your schedule and earn competitive wages as a part-time, W-2 employee.

Provide safe, engaging care, lead activities, prepare simple meals, assist with routines, and communicate professionally with families and the Jovie team. Flexible on-call shifts with opportunities for recurring assignments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience working with children
• Must be 18 years or older
• Reliable transportation and a clean driving record; able to pass MVR/background checks
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
• W-2 employment with flexible scheduling

Jovie of Reno-Tahoe is hiring dependable, experienced nannies and babysitters to work with local families. You will care for infants through school-age children and choose from available assignments that fit your availability.

This is a W-2 position - not a 1099 gig job.

What You'll Do

• Provide safe, engaging care for children
• Play games, read, do crafts, and lead age-appropriate activities
• Prepare simple meals and snacks
• Assist with bottles, diapering, naps, and routines as needed

What We're Looking For

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Have 2+ years of experience working with children
• Have experience independently caring for children
• Have reliable transportation and a clean driving record
• Be able to pass an MVR screening and comprehensive background check
• Be CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain certification
• Be dependable, communicative, and comfortable working with different families

Relevant experience may include nannying, babysitting, daycare, preschool, teaching, classroom support, camps, or similar hands-on work with children.

Applicants with experience working with children with special needs will receive priority consideration.

Schedule

This is a flexible, on-call position with opportunities during weekdays, evenings, and weekends.

Applicants must be available every other weekend.

Broader weekday availability may provide access to additional assignments.
