Job summary

Jovie of Phoenix + Tucson is hiring reliable caregivers to support local families and events in the Tempe area. Responsibilities include caregiving for children ages 1–13, planning age‑appropriate activities, and ensuring safety with nutritious meals and routines.

We offer paid training, gas reimbursement, and opportunities for raises twice per year. Must have childcare experience, CPR/First Aid or willingness to obtain it, and a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of childcare experience outside your immediate family.
• Ability to provide 2-3 childcare references.
• CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable transportation.
• Age 18+.
• Available at least one consistent weekday every week.

Responsibilities

• Care for children ages 1-13
• Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities
• Read, play games, craft, and support learning
• Prepare simple meals and snacks
• Follow family routines, including naps and bedtime
• Transport children when needed
• Maintain a safe and organized environment

Pay:

$17.50-$18.00/hr Starting

15-20 hours per week (additional hours available based on availability)
