Job summary

Jovie is seeking caregivers to support families with in-home childcare on a flexible, on-call basis. You will work around your school or family commitments and join an on-call team that values reliability and a friendly approach.

Pay ranges from $20 to $22 per hour with paid training and a nanny kit. The role offers opportunities to advance, paid sick time, and various benefits, including stipends and retirement matching for full-time employment.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Experience working with children, paid or unpaid; infant experience mandatory.
• Reliable transportation.
• Willingness and ability to travel to various homes throughout the area.
• Available any 3 or more weekdays for 6 - 8 hour shifts between 7 am and 7 pm.
• Commitment to be communicative and responsive to the staffing supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Care for children in-home, but you will not be required to transport children.
• No household duties other than common sense clean-up of your activities or meals with the child.
• Support families who need care for children ranging from infants through toddlers.
• Engage children by providing safety and leading hands-on activities based on age-appropriate development.

As a Back-up Nanny, You Will

• Care for children in-home, but you will not be required to transport children
• No household duties other than common sense clean-up of your activities or meals with the child
• Support families who need care for children ranging from infants through toddlers. Highest demand for care for children under the age of 2!
• Engage children by providing safety and leading hands-on activities based on your observations of the children’s age-appropriate development

We Provide

• Pay: $20 per hour - $22 per hour per hour
