Jovie is seeking a back-up nanny to provide in‑home childcare on a flexible, on‑call basis in the Burlingame area. You’ll work with multiple families, offering nurturing care and safe, age‑appropriate activities.

This role is ideal for someone who wants part‑time hours that fit around school or other commitments. You must be 18+, have experience with children (infant experience preferred), reliable transportation, and the ability to travel to various homes.

Qualifications

As a Back‑up Nanny, You Will

• Care for children in‑home, but you will not be required to transport children
• No household duties other than common sense clean‑up of your activities or meals with the child
• Support families who need care for children ranging from infants through toddlers. Highest demand for care for children under the age of 2!
• Engage children by providing safety and leading hands‑on activities based on your observations of the children’s age‑appropriate development

We Provide

• Pay: $24 per hour - $26.50 per hour per hour

About You

• At least 18 years old
• Experience working with children, paid or unpaid, infant experience mandatory
• Reliable transportation
• Your willingness and ability to travel to various homes throughout the area
• You are available any 3 or more weekdays for 6 - 8 hour shifts between 7 am and 7 pm
• Commitment to be communicative and responsive to the staffing supervisor and a bright smile to greet each family!
