WinnCompanies is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for The Village at Gaithersburg, a 168-unit mixed-income community in Gaithersburg, MD. You will perform maintenance in rental units, common areas, offices, grounds and parking lots, delivering reliable service to residents.

The role requires 1–3 years' relevant experience, basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC, and a valid driver's license. On-call duties and customer-friendly communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant work experience.
• General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances, and HVAC.
• A current vehicle license in good standing and meet driving records standards.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic familiarity with computers and tablets.
• Availability for on-call activity during off hours.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair appliances, carpentry, hardware, masonry, painting, basic electrical, basic plumbing and basic HVAC.
• Complete assigned service requests and repairs per procedures.
• Prepare vacant apartments for occupancy and market readiness.
• Perform preventive maintenance and safety/annual unit inspections.
• Maintain grounds and curb appeal; snow removal and landscaping.
