Job summary

The Village at Germantown is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to perform general and preventative maintenance on residents' facilities and equipment.

You will handle plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry tasks, and respond to emergencies, while keeping work areas safe and organized. High school diploma required; valid driver''s license preferred; experience in building systems beneficial.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of building/mechanical systems required.
• Ability to read common measuring instruments.
• Experience with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, or painting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and assigned tasks promptly.
• Maintain neat and orderly shop and storage areas.
• Keep tools and equipment in good working order.
• Perform preventive maintenance on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.
• Assist with inspections, testing, and repairs of building systems.
