Job summary

Fairfield Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for our Montgomery community in Bethesda, MD. You will perform daily maintenance tasks, diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, and appliance issues, and prepare vacant apartments for new residents.

You will join an on-site team and participate in the on-call rotation to support residents and maintain a safe, welcoming property. The ideal candidate has at least one year of maintenance experience in property management, strong

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Valid Driver's License.
• Experience: Minimum one year in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Skills: English literacy, basic computer usage, attention to detail, customer service.
• Knowledge: Plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair; ability to read Make Ready checklists.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance and repairs in electrical, plumbing, and appliances.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents using the Make Ready Checklist.
• Maintain the exterior of the property and pool areas.
• Inspect buildings and grounds for safety and cleanliness.
• Communicate with vendors and contractors.
