Job summary

WinnCompanies is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for Gospel Gardens, a 200-unit community in Memphis, TN. You will perform maintenance across rental units, common areas, offices, grounds and parking lots, ensuring safe and market-ready homes for residents.

The role requires 1–3 years' experience with electrical, plumbing, appliances and HVAC, plus strong communication and basic computer skills. On-call availability and teamwork are essential components of this position.

Qualifications

1-3 years of relevant maintenance experience required.
General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances, and HVAC.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic computer/tablet familiarity for work orders and checklists.
On-call availability for urgent needs is expected.
Ability to speak and understand basic English.
Ability to work with diverse residents and colleagues.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair appliances, carpentry, hardware, masonry, painting, electrical, plumbing, and basic HVAC issues.
Complete service requests and repairs; prep vacant units to market-ready condition.
Perform preventive maintenance and annual inspections per program schedules.
Maintain grounds and curb appeal, including snow removal and trash management.
Be available for on-call duty during off-hours as scheduled.
