Job summary

Fulcrum Real Estate Services, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repair tasks across residential and commercial properties. You will help ensure safety, appearance, and functionality, while delivering strong resident service.

Key duties include HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repair; respond to requests promptly; prepare vacants; conduct inspections; assist preventive maintenance; and maintain clean work areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of experience in general building maintenance or similar role preferred.
• Experience in multi-family or commercial property maintenance preferred.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs.
• Ability to use standard tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repair.
• Respond promptly to service requests and complete work orders efficiently.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents, including painting, cleaning, and necessary repairs.
• Conduct regular property inspections and identify needed repairs or hazards.
• Assist in implementing preventive maintenance programs for building systems and equipment.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance areas in a clean and orderly condition.
• Ensure proper disposal of trash and debris around the property.
• Communicate effectively with residents, team members, and supervisors.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours maintenance emergencies.
• Follow all safety guidelines and OSHA standards.
