Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Maintenance Technician for multifamily properties. The role involves preparing move-in units, performing plumbing, HVAC, electrical and carpentry tasks, and ensuring resident satisfaction through timely, courteous service.

On-site work includes keeping grounds, pools, and common areas safe and presentable, with potential after-hours on-call responsibilities. A valid driver's license and relevant certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's license required with EPA 608 Type II certification and CPO or local city certificate.
• Ability to read and understand policy manuals, safety rules, and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to perform basic math, interpret graphs, and follow written and oral instructions.
• Commitment to safety procedures and on-site punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare make-ready apartments, including painting, cleaning, and basic repairs.
• Respond to resident requests promptly with a professional attitude.
• Perform maintenance tasks (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, painting) and snow removal where applicable.
• Maintain grounds, pools, common areas, and amenities to keep them safe and clean.
• Attend training and report maintenance concerns to the supervisor.
