Job summary

Village Green has an immediate Maintenance Technician position available at our Ann Arbor property. You will handle work orders, apartment turns, and on-site upkeep, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, and appliance repairs, while delivering friendly, professional service to residents.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in hotel or multifamily housing, strong customer service, and mechanical aptitude.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years' experience in hotel industry or multifamily housing preferred
• Excellent customer service skills and general computer knowledge
• Strong experience with plumbing, electrical, appliances, and painting
• Availability for on-call and weekend work when necessary

Responsibilities

• Timely completion of work orders and special projects
• Knowledge in HVAC
• Completion of plumbing and electrical service requests
• Apartment turns including plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and appliance repair
• Servicing residents in a friendly, customer service-oriented manner
• Diagnoses problems and performs repairs in electrical areas
• Responds to on-call emergencies as directed by Property/Service Manager
• Maintains exterior of the property for curb appeal
• Housekeeping duties and snow removal during winter
• Maintenance of pools, spas, and pool areas if applicable
