Cheyenne Mountain Resort, Destination by Hyatt in Colorado Springs is seeking friendly Buffet Attendants to maintain breakfast offerings. This seasonal role requires strong guest service skills, clear communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while keeping the buffet well stocked.

You will greet guests, monitor temperatures, assist with coffee, reset tables, and coordinate with kitchen staff.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Must be 18+ and available weekends/holidays.
• Able to lift, pull and push moderate weight.
• Strong command of English (speaking, reading, writing).

Responsibilities

• Set up, replenish, and maintain the breakfast buffet with fresh, appealing food and beverages.
• Greet guests warmly, answer questions about menu items, and accommodate reasonable requests.
• Monitor food temperatures and presentation to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
• Keep the buffet area, dining space, and service stations clean, organized, and well-stocked.
• Assist with brewing coffee, preparing simple hot and cold items, and restocking condiments.
• Clear tables promptly and reset them for incoming guests.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines.
• Communicate with the kitchen and management regarding supply needs or guest feedback.

Position Overview

This is a seasonal role. The Buffet Attendant is responsible primarily for maintaining breakfast/buffet items. This person must have good communication skills as this is a fast‑paced position with continual customer contact. The ability to lift, pull and push moderate weight is necessary. Must be available weekends and holidays.
