Rock Creek is looking for an On-Call Engaged Living Assistant for Memory Support in Washington, DC, who will enhance the lives of residents through individualized programming and meaningful activities. The role involves planning, implementing engaging programs, and assisting with mobility and transportation.

The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma, relevant experience in adult day programming, and communication skills to effectively interact with residents and families.

Qualifications

• Understanding of the social, psychological, physical and recreational needs of the geriatric population.
• Certification as a Dementia Practitioner or eligibility to obtain within 90 days.
• Experience with planning and leading engaging activities.

Responsibilities

• Support residents in memory engagement.
• Plan and lead activities tailored to residents' needs.
• Assist with transportation of residents as needed.
