Job summary

Ingleside at Rock Creek seeks an on-site Assistant for the Life Enrichment Memory Support Day Program. You will support adult day programming, plan group activities, and assist with individualized resident care plans to maximize well-being.

The role requires a CDP or eligibility within 90 days, strong communication skills, and collaboration with the Director of Life Enrichment. Competitive benefits accompany full-time employment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or Associate's Degree in a Human Service field required.
• Certification as a Dementia Practitioner (CDP) or eligibility to obtain CDP within 90 days of hire date is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication; excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and leading individual and group activities.
• Develop life enrichment programming across the Seven Dimensions of Wellness.
• Provide one-to-one support per resident plan of care.
• Coordinate with Director of Life Enrichment and supervise students/interns/volunteers.
• Communicate activities and events to residents and families.
