Job summary

Ingleside at Rock Creek in Washington, DC is seeking a Part-Time Engaged Living Assistant for Memory Support within our Adult Day Programming. The role focuses on person-centered activities to enhance social, cognitive, and emotional well-being for residents.

Responsibilities include planning life enrichment activities, supporting daily living, coordinating with the Memory Support Director, and assisting with transportation as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or Associates Degree in a Human Service field required.
• Certification as a Dementia Practitioner (CDP) or eligibility to obtain CDP within 90 days of hire date through NCCDP is required.
• Six (6) months to one year related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops, promotes, and implements life enrichment programming using the Seven Dimensions of Wellness.
• Plans and implements group and individual activities in the Memory Support neighborhood.
• Assists with transportation of residents when needed.
• Maintains documentation such as assessments and care plans in accordance with policy.
