Job summary

The Goodman Group, LLC is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician to administer medications within the licensed scope and provide daily resident care as defined by the care plan. This role supports residents in a home-like setting, assists with personal care, monitors health changes, and collaborates with nursing staff to ensure safety and quality of life for residents.

Previous caregiving experience preferred; completion of required state certifications is expected.

Qualifications

• Must meet state and federal licensing requirements for Medication Technicians.
• Prefer 6+ months of experience in home care, assisted living, or long-term care.
• Ability to interact with residents and families with empathy and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of a licensed nurse, administer medications per MAR and scope of license.
• Document medication administration accurately and report adverse effects.
• Assist residents with personal care and daily living activities.
• Support residents during meals and leisure activities and promote socialization.
• Observe health changes and communicate with nursing staff promptly.
• Respond to resident requests and maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Assist residents to appointments and programs as needed.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
