Job summary

The Goodman Group, LLC is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician to administer medications within the licensed scope and provide daily resident care per care plans. This role works under the supervision of a licensed nurse to ensure safety and quality of care.

Responsibilities include documentation, observation and reporting of residents' health and emotional changes, assisting in dining and daily activities, and promoting a safe, infection-controlled environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.
• Prefer 6 months or more of experience in a home care, assisted living, or long-term care facility.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications within license scope and document in MAR.
• Provide daily resident care and services per care plan.
• Under supervision of licensed nurse, monitor and report changes.
• Assist in dining rooms and personal care, mobility and activities of daily living.
• Encourage socialization and participate in activities.
• Maintain infection control and safety practices.
• Observe health and emotional condition and report to nurse.
