Job summary

The Goodman Group, LLC is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician to join our care team. You will administer medications within your licensed scope and provide residents with daily care per their care plans, in a supportive senior living environment.

Responsibilities include documenting medication administration, assisting with personal care and meals, observing resident health changes, and communicating with the nursing staff to ensure safety and continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.
• Prefer 6 months or more of experience in a home care, assisted living, or long-term care facility.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications under the general supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Maintain accurate documentation of medication administration and monitor for side effects.
• Perform personal care activities (bathing, grooming, dressing, etc.) as directed.
• Assist in dining rooms to provide resident care and monitoring.
• Initiate and participate in resident leisure activities and social programs.
• Observe and report health and emotional changes to the nurse.
