Job summary

The Goodman Group, LLC seeks a dedicated Medication Technician to administer medications within the licensed scope and provide daily resident care per care plans at our Oregon community.

Under licensed nurse supervision, you will document administration, assist with activities, monitor residents, and uphold safety, infection control, and service standards while supporting residents and families with compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.
• Prefer 6 months or more of experience in a home care, assisted living, or long-term care facility.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of a licensed nurse, assist/administer medications as directed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of medication administration and effects.
• Provide personal care activities and support residents with daily living tasks.
• Assist in dining rooms and monitor residents during meals.
• Promote safety, infection control, and proper handling of materials.
• Observe residents, report changes to the nurse promptly and communicate with staff.
