Job summary

Responsibilities include collaboration with licensed nurses, documenting medication events, and promoting safety, infection control, and compassionate resident support. Prior LTC experience helps, training is available.

Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements.
• Preferred 6+ months of experience in home care or long-term care.
• Valid caregiver license/certification as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications under nurse supervision.
• Maintain accurate documentation of medication administration and changes.
• Assist with daily resident care and activities as directed.
• Observe and report changes to nursing staff promptly.
• Ensure safety and infection control practices are followed.
• Provide companionship and assist with meals and activities.
