Job summary

Foundation Communities in Austin, TX is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to ensure vacated apartments are restored to market-ready condition and to timely complete service requests. You will support Lead Maintenance when needed and may work at other Foundation Communities properties.

The role requires 2–4 years of practical maintenance experience, including pools, plumbing and electrical knowledge, and being on call. OSHA training and HVAC certs are a plus.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of practical maintenance experience.
• Make-ready knowledge including pools, plumbing and electrical.
• Willingness to be on call and work across multiple properties.

Responsibilities

• Restore vacated apartments to market-ready status.
• Complete service requests in a timely manner.
• Support Lead Maintenance and other staff.
• Assist in inventory management and inspections as needed.
