Job summary

Atlantic Housing Foundation, Inc. seeks a Service Technician to assist with overseeing the physical property, perform general maintenance, preventative tasks, and support construction or rehabilitation projects across the apartment community.

The role includes grounds keeping, on-site amenities upkeep, and on-call response for emergencies, with duties focused on make-ready processes under supervision while complying with Fair Housing and OSHA regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of multi-family maintenance or 2+ years of commercial maintenance experience preferred.
• EPA Sec 608 Certification - Type I/II or Type Universal.
• Familiar with plumbing repairs, tile work, HVAC equipment, appliances, carpentry repairs, electrical repairs and all facets of apartment make-ready.
• Must have reliable transportation and read, write and speak English.
• Ability to stand, walk and climb ladders, and lift 50 pounds or more.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the physical property and handle general maintenance repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance and assist with construction/rehabilitation projects.
