Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus one year of relevant experience in the maintenance field or a certificate from a maintenance trade/vocational school or equivalent years of experience.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License, clear MVR and the ability to be insured.

Responsibilities

• Performs repair and service work on air conditioners including complete removal and possible installation (primarily PTAC units).
• Performs minor electrical repairs to systems inside and outside of units (breakers, outlets, switches, lighting).
• Performs a variety of plumbing repairs and general maintenance on building systems.
• Performs carpentry duties including door repairs/replacements and flooring repairs.
• Performs interior and exterior painting and finishing; maintains drywall and siding.
• Repairs windows, screens and doors; follows approved maintenance procedures.
• Completes forms and work orders timely; maintains daily/weekly logbooks and reports work performed.
• Works independently, provides own tools, and maintains on-site presence for scheduled tasks.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent + 1 year maintenance experience
