Job summary

Capstone On-Campus Management (COCM) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support campus housing facilities. You will assist in maintenance, renovation, and repairs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general systems, including an on-call rotation to respond to emergencies.

The role requires 2–5 years of relevant experience, post-secondary trade or vocational schooling, and knowledge of chilled water systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in plumbing, HVAC, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Post-secondary education such as Associate’s Degree or Vocational Degree in a related field.
• Knowledge of chilled water systems and fan coil units.
• Experience in student housing or campus facilities maintenance.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Participates in a 24-hour emergency maintenance on-call schedule on a rotating basis.
• Responds on-site within 45 minutes for emergency calls; must have reliable transportation.
• Performs preventive maintenance and responsive repairs across facilities.
• Executes plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance tasks; supports painting and drywall as needed.
• Maintains and cleans maintenance shop and storage areas.
• Assists with restoring rooms and common areas to original condition after move-out.
