Job summary

Capstone On-Campus Management (COCM) is hiring a Property Maintenance Technician to support the Triangle Towers at Case Western Reserve University. You will assist in facility maintenance, renovations, and repairs including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and painting.

You will participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation and interact with students in a professional, customer-focused manner. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 3–5 years of maintenance experience, and the ability to lift up to

Qualifications

Requires a high school diploma or GED.
3–5 years of general maintenance experience, preferably in apartment maintenance.
Experience with plumbing, HVAC, electrical and mechanical systems.
Proficient with hand and power tools; strong troubleshooting skills.
Must be a team player and able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Participates in 24-hour emergency maintenance on-call schedule.
Supports facilities maintenance plan and preventive maintenance; responds within 24 hours.
Perform plumbing repairs including leaks, drains, toilets, sinks and gaskets.
Perform electrical repairs including bulbs, fixtures, sockets, outlets and GFCIs.
Complete painting and drywall repairs as scheduled.
Maintain and organize tools and storage areas daily.
Maintain entry doors, locks and key systems; support exterior repairs.
Ensure safety procedures and PPE usage at all times.
Participate in regular inspections of buildings and systems.
Take on other duties as assigned.
