Job summary

Capstone On-Campus Management (COCM) is hiring a Property Maintenance Technician to support Case Western Reserve University properties. You will perform general maintenance, repairs across plumbing, HVAC and electrical systems, and participate in a 24-hour on-call rotation to handle emergencies.

The role requires strong customer service, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work with a student-focused team. Competitive benefits and a student-centered work environment are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years general maintenance experience, preferably in apartment maintenance setting.
• Experience in plumbing, HVAC, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• Troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Team player; capable of coordinating with residents & staff.
• Able to move and lift up to 50 lbs and navigate stairs.
• Experience with chilled water systems is preferred.
• Available to respond to afterhours emergencies within 45 minutes.

Responsibilities

• Participates in 24-hour emergency maintenance on-call schedule.
• Responds on-site within 45 minutes for emergencies.
• Supports facilities maintenance plan and preventive maintenance.
• Maintains and repairs plumbing, HVAC, electrical and related systems.
• Cleans, organizes, and maintains storage and shop facilities.
• Performs painting and drywall repair as needed.
• Assists with resident move-outs and room restoration.
• Ensures safety procedures and PPE usage at all times.
