Schochet Co. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Essex Village & King’s Grant Apartments in North Kingstown, RI. The role involves completing work orders, turnover tasks, and on-call duties at a 200+ unit property with comprehensive benefits and vacation/holiday allowances.

Applicants should have strong electrical/plumbing/HVAC and appliance repair skills; residential maintenance experience is a plus. Valid driver’s license and transportation are required, with on-site duties and safety

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical/plumbing/HVAC and appliance repair is a plus.
• Residential property maintenance experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift moderate weights and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Complete all types of work orders from residents.
• Perform resident apartment turnover tasks.
• Be available for on-call duties.
• Open, track, and close work orders; some administrative duties.
