Job summary

ZRS Management in Irving, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician to deliver skilled, reliable service to residents and support the Maintenance Supervisor. You will perform repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances, and handle turnover and common area maintenance.

This full-time role emphasizes safety, preventive maintenance, and teamwork. EPA certification is preferred and a valid driver's license is required; on-call availability may be needed.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record and proof of automobile insurance.
• EPA certification preferred; if required at a specific property, certification must be obtained within 90 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform independently technical maintenance repairs to plumbing, electrical, heating, air conditioning, appliances, and other as needed.
• Perform apartment turnover maintenance within 3–5 business days and complete turnover checklist.
• Common area maintenance: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, cleaning windows and more.
• Monitor building exterior for issues with roof, siding, shutters, etc.
• Support a preventive maintenance program for the area of responsibility.
• Ensure safe condition of all equipment/structures in area of expertise.
• Enter newly purchased tools or equipment into inventory.
• Keep work area clean and orderly.
• Observe all safety rules.
