Qualifications

• Must work in a physically demanding environment with lifting up to 80 lbs.
• 2-year technical degree or equivalent work experience.
• Four years of multi-family or commercial building maintenance experience.
• Intermediate computer skills including Excel and email/time entry in office systems.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Boilers license levels accepted and preferred.
• Must provide own hand tools listed in the requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of maintenance duties including equipment installation, troubleshooting, and repairs to meet standards and laws.
• Schedule, prioritize, and ensure timely completion of work orders (48 hours).
• Carry out basic repairs in HVAC, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, fixtures, and appliances.
• Assist in prioritizing work orders and monitoring building maintenance.
• Perform site-level preventive maintenance inspections and duties.
• Prepare vacant units as assigned and coordinate with vendors.
• Maintain inventory of hand tools and supplies for the workshop.
• Maintain professional conduct with residents, vendors, and staff; support safety programs.
