Job summary

Marsden Services, L.L.C. is seeking a part-time Maintenance Technician in Jackson, MS to perform a range of maintenance duties on property and grounds, ensuring safety, standards, and lawful compliance. You will install, troubleshoot, and repair systems, while coordinating with vendors and peers to maintain inventory and tools.

The role requires carrying out on-call emergencies, training, and adherence to safety programs, with an emphasis on teamwork and resident interaction at a busy property.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• 2-year Technical Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Four years multi-family or commercial building maintenance or equivalent experience.
• Intermediate computer skills including emails and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment installation, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance to meet standards and laws.
• Schedule, prioritize, and complete work orders within 48 hours.
• Complete basic HVAC, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, and related repairs.
• Assist in prioritizing work orders and monitoring maintenance of buildings and equipment.
• Attend training and ensure certifications are current.
