Pivotal Housing Partners LLC in Centerville, IA is seeking a part-time Maintenance Technician to support Centerville Senior Lofts. The role involves responsive service to residents, scheduling 24–48 hour work orders, and maintaining HVAC/plumbing/electrical/carpentry systems.

On-call availability is required to handle emergencies. Starting pay is $21 per hour with benefits including paid holidays, 401(k) with company match, and weekly direct deposit.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related experience.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• HVAC training and certification preferred.
• Commitment to regular attendance (may include weekend and OT hours).
• Ability to be on-call for emergencies.
• Ability to receive, manage, and close work orders using smartphone applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to all current and future residents.
• Complete resident work orders on a timely basis (24 to 48-hour expectation).
• Broad knowledge of general maintenance: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
• Assist with court-ordered set-outs when necessary.
• Perform unit turnover between residents per company standards (3-5 days).
• Maintain grounds and curb appeal.
• Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
• Be responsive to on-call emergencies.
