Job summary

Balfour Beatty Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to help maintain the community’s physical condition and deliver world-class service to residents.

You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and ensure maintenance requests are completed promptly, while supporting safety policies and resident satisfaction. The role includes a rotating on-call schedule for 24/7 coverage and opportunities to advance within the Maintenance Technician levels.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of maintenance experience.
• Certifications relevant to the region (e.g., EPA 608, Boiler) obtained within 9 months of employment or promotion.
• Valid state driver's license with safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance support for general property maintenance incl. HVAC, mechanical, electrical, utilities and lighting systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies and procedures.
• Deliver high resident satisfaction through responsive, professional interactions.
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule for 24/7 maintenance coverage.
