Apartment Management Consultants is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Tempe, AZ to perform daily repairs and unit prepping, manage tools and inventory, and respond to on-call service requests to keep properties in top condition.

Ideal candidates will have HVAC/plumbing/electrical knowledge, hands-on maintenance experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to follow detailed instructions while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate various hand tools including power tools.
• Effective communication skills.
• Knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
• Property maintenance/handyman experience.
• Ability to follow written or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Repair and upkeep of property and vacant unit prep.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment; ensure tools available.
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances.
• Maintain professional uniform and appearance.
• Operate within OSHA standards and company safety policies.
• Be available for on-call service and 24-hour response.
• Secure maintenance shops daily; remove snow/ice as needed.
• Handle lock-outs due to evictions.
