Job summary

Apartment Management Consultants is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform daily repair and upkeep of property buildings and grounds, including preparing vacant units for occupancy. You will manage tools, inventory, and safety, while following OSHA standards and providing a 24/7 on-call response.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, plus strong communication skills and a professional appearance.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate various hand tools including power tools.
• Effective communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Property maintenance/handyman experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Daily repair and upkeep of the property and vacant unit prep for occupancy.
• Maintain and inventory supplies and equipment.
• Ensure necessary tools are on hand.
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents.
• Maintain professional appearance and comply with OSHA standards.
• Be on-call and respond 24/7 to service requests; secure maintenance shops.
• Remove snow and ice as needed.
