Job summary

Avanti Residential is hiring a Service Technician to keep the community (Cottages at Abbott Station) in excellent shape. You will prepare units for move-ins and handle maintenance tasks across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry works. You must respond to after-hours emergencies as part of on-call duties.

The role requires strong customer service, 1+ year of relevant experience, and a valid driver’s license. Benefits include health coverage, paid time off, and education support.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years of relevant maintenance experience.
• OSHA, EPA, and CPO licenses preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare units for move-ins with electrical, plumbing, carpentry repairs.
• Complete work orders within 24 hours as directed by the Community Manager/Service Manager.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies (on-call).
• Perform grounds maintenance and basic landscaping.
• Assist with snow removal and hurricane prep in FL.
• Maintain clear communication with residents, vendors, and team.
