Job summary

AVE is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our luxury apartment communities. You will perform a range of maintenance tasks, from painting and electrical work to HVAC repairs, plumbing and preventative maintenance, ensuring high standards of service for residents.

This full‑time role requires good communication, reliable transportation for on‑call rotations, and the ability to handle after‑hours emergencies.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of maintenance, construction, or related experience.
• HVAC certification is a plus (we will sponsor)
• Communicates all necessary maintenance related issues to the Maintenance Manager on a daily basis

Responsibilities

• Follow AVE standard operating processes and procedures
• Perform maintenance tasks including painting, caulking, HVAC repairs, and more
• Complete suite make-readies using the AVE Maintenance Technician checklist
• Service requests – complete residents service requests within 24-hour period
• Assist with organization and cleanliness of maintenance shop and inventory control
• Trash removal and manage garbage enclosures
• Maintain and power wash if needed; assist with emergencies
• On-call rotation and after-hours coverage for community emergencies
• Snow removal to keep the community accessible
