Job summary

Avanti Residential in Steamboat Springs, CO is seeking a Service Technician to keep Mountain Village in excellent condition. You’ll prepare units for move-ins, perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC repairs, and handle after-hours emergencies.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, teamwork, and safety. Requires 1+ year experience, a valid driver's license, and background screening; OSHA/EPA/CPO licenses are a plus. We offer premium pay and generous benefits.

Qualifications

1+ years of relevant maintenance experience.
OSHA, EPA, and CPO licenses/certifications preferred.
Written, verbal, and oral communication skills.
Possession of a valid driver’s license and up-to-date vehicle insurance.
Pass criminal background screening prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Prepare units for move-ins with repairs across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and painting.
Complete work orders within 24 hours and report emergencies promptly.
Provide 24-hour emergency maintenance and on-call responsibilities.
Conduct grounds upkeep and light landscaping when possible.
Manage snow removal or hurricane prep and cleanup as needed.
Maintain professional communication with residents, vendors, and team members.
