Job summary

RHP Properties, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Balsam Lake, WI community to perform grounds maintenance, basic home repairs, and respond to work orders. This is a full-time position at 40 hours per week.

You will work with the Community Manager to ensure timely maintenance, conduct preventive tasks, assist with snow removal, manage tools and equipment, and keep community spaces safe and well kept. A valid driver's license and prior maintenance experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver''s license required.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliances, HVAC, and carpentry.
• May need to provide own tools.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance to ensure homes and community areas are in proper condition.
• Execute assigned work orders and report status to the Community Manager timely and efficiently.
• Promote goodwill by handling all contacts with residents, prospective residents, visitors and other employees in a spirit of courtesy, cooperation and attentiveness.
• Maintain and service community grounds; manage seasonal lawn care.
• Perform snow removal and winter prep as applicable.
• Maintain all maintenance and grounds equipment, and inventory supplies.
• Adhere to safety laws and company policies.
