Job summary

Drucker + Falk is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Hampton Center Apartments in Hampton, VA. This regular full-time role involves make-ready repairs on vacant units, on-call coverage, and coordination with the Service Manager to maintain property conditions.

Responsibilities include timely repairs, inventory control, and assisting with grounds and other tasks as needed. A valid driver’s license, basic trades skills, and HVAC familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• HVAC, Plumbing, Carpentry skills required.
• Knowledge of SDS and OSHA necessary.
• 608 Refrigerant certification preferred; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Make-ready repairs to vacant units in a timely manner.
• Respond to on-call pager as scheduled and provide 24-hour coverage.
• Inspect units, coordinate with the Service Manager, and order materials.
• Perform interior and exterior maintenance and routine inspections.
• Maintain a clean maintenance shop and uphold safety standards.
• Assist with inventory control, grounds keeping, and on-site tasks.
